Black Line supported

Of all the ways to build a watercolor tattoo, I believe the best way to have them hold up over time is to have some black linework. All colors fade at different rates, and a good structure will assure that your tattoo will be “readable” as you age together.

Lineless

Not all watercolor designs need to rely on black linework. Images that are more impressionistic and soft with good contrast do well as they age.

Sketchy inkwork

Black ink will always hold up well, particularly if you’re in the sun a lot of have darker skin. Big inky streaks and sketchy lines are a bold and economical way to get a lot of coverage.
